Been comparing welcome offers the last few weeks and honestly most of them look great until you read the playthrough.
The regulated apps in my state (PA) tend to run lower wagering on the match part, like 15x to 25x, and a lot of them give you a chunk of bonus money that's basically a deposit match you have to clear. The big flashy 100% up to a grand offers? Half of them are 35x to 40x and you'll never see daylight unless you're grinding for a month.
So my question for the people who actually clear these: which structure do you find realistic? Low match with sane wagering, or the no-deposit type that's small but easy? I'm leaning toward anything under 25x on slots only.
Keep your stakes sensible obviously, not trying to chase.

15x to 25x is the sweet spot and you nailed it. Anything north of 30x on a deposit match is a paper bonus to me, the math just doesn't work unless you're putting in real volume.
One thing people miss: check the game weighting. Slots usually count 100 percent but table games count like 10 or 20 percent, so a 25x on tables is really 100x+ in disguise. I keep a note of which ones weight live tables decently and there aren't many.

honestly the number is only half of it. the part that gets people is the max bet rule while the bonus is active. you'll be clearing a 20x just fine then accidentally drop a $7 spin and they void the whole thing.
so i'd add: low wagering AND a max bet you can live with. and set a deposit limit before you opt in. a bonus is not a reason to put in more than you planned.

NJ here and yeah the regulated ones are way more honest about it. I did a 20x on slots last month, took me maybe four or five weekend sessions of small spins. Cleared like 60 bucks. Not life changing but it was real money and it cashed out fine.
The ones that scare me are the offshore type with the giant percentages. boh, no thanks.
